Rob Salmon is Director of STRS Consultancy Ltd, operating as an independent consultant in traffic and road safety management.
 
Prior to this, he was responsible for road safety strategy and engineering services as Assistant Head of Highways and Transport at West Sussex County Council.
 
Rob has worked in both the public and private sectors for over 35 years, focusing primarily on Transport Systems, Traffic Management and Road Safety. He was chairman of the South East region authorities road safety reduction group RCR2010 and the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership.
 
Rob is currently assisting the Road Safety Foundation in their quest for a safer UK road system.
