Geoff is the Sales & Marketing Director for Speed Check Services, a leading ITS company and the supplier of SPECS – the only Home Office Type Approved (HOTA) average speed enforcement system. In the last three years, this role has involved the study of casualty, speed and flow data from over 100 temporary and permanent SPECS installations, leading to a number of innovative projects around the UK ’s road network. Geoff joined Speed Check in 2004 and, prior to this, spent ten years in the machine vision industry, using camera and image processing technology for a wide variety of inspection and control applications. He graduated from Nottingham University in 1991; he is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the IET and IHT.
