Paul Everitt is the Chief Executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
 
Prior to joining SMMT as Chief Executive, Paul was the Director of Civil Air Transport and Communications at the Society of British Aerospace Companies.
 
Paul has more than 17 years’ experience in public policy and campaigns in the transport sector.
 
Previously, Paul was with SMMT as Head of Communications, Economics and Policy. He played a major role in launching and developing the motor industry sustainability report and the annual CO2 report, as well as taking a lead on a range of high profile policy campaigns.
